Situated in the remote East Arnhem Land community of Gapuwiyak
(also known as Lake Evella), GCAAC is a nonprofit organisation
with aims to enhance the wellbeing of Yolngu people living in the region. Backed by the Australian Government’s Visual Crafts and Arts Strategy, GCAAC strives to promote their art and cultural practices whilst providing opportunities for leadership, meaningful employment and professional development.

The Gapuwiyak brand is vibrant and contemporary, drawing on the aesthetics and soul of their traditional, handmade craft.
